The successful candidate is an established and productive professional contributor that will work cooperatively with Subcontracts personnel to plan and organize all elements of procurement for the Subcontracts organization. He or she will direct and manage all schedules and purchase orders for to supply 3rd Party demand, work with Logistics to ensure timely delivery and induction of goods, work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment of invoices, work with suppliers to return goods as necessary for repairs and upgrades, communicate with internal customers about order statuses, and will complete other related tasks as they arise.

Primary Responsibilities:• Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis.• Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.• Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization’s best interest.• Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance.• Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.• Prepares request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts.• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.• Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity.• Directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for the client account or the product family.• Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost.• May perform delivery assurance responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required

Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

-Knowledge of and experience in SAP PR1;

-Knowledge of and experience in Ariba;

-Knowledge of and experience in O365 Tools, especially Microsoft Excel;

-Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;

-Excellent oral and written communication skills;

-Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision;

-Ability to solve complex problems.
