ProMedica Health System Payroll Clerk in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for the payroll process as well as a variety of routine clerical tasks in support of the business office. Previous experience in business office or payroll, preferred.

Job Specific Details:

Payroll Responsibilities

? Performs all daily, weekly, and pay period close responsibilities related to Kronos payroll processing

? Maintains strict confidentiality of all employee data

? Ensures timely and accurate submission of payroll

? Answers questions about pay, overtime and other payroll issues

? Ensures that schedules are input into Kronos system as directed by department

 

Accounts Payable Responsibilities

? Completes Vendor Master Form and tax form for each new vendor.

? Obtains invoices from vendors and matches to appropriate receiving documents.

? Prepares Accounts Payable with Administrator approval, and mail to corporate office weekly  

? Reviews month end payables report and makes appropriate adjustments

? Files vendor invoices in alphabetical order by vendor.

? Maintains accounts payable/purchase order log.

? Oversees preparation and submission of expense reports.

 

Front Desk Responsibilities

? Answer multiline telephone, take and relay messages, sort/distribute mail.

? Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.
