This is a 1st shift position.This position is primarily responsible for checking in items received from vendors, packaging and shipping completed orders to/for our customers, and material handling to/from the Shipping & Receiving Department.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesiUnload and inspect all received materials to ensure quality and accuracy expectations are met. This often includes counting items, comparing expected quantity, and comparing identifying information and measurements to verify information to bill of lading, invoice, order or other record.iObtain and match purchase orders with delivery receipts, enter receivers in Frontier, note discrepancies and file paperwork.iCommunicate discrepancies on transfers or purchase orders and provide proper supporting documentation.iIdentify material that needs to be transferred to the quality department for further testing and complete proper inventory documentation.iLabel and put away incoming inventory and maintain record of locations if necessary. .iLook over work orders and communicate discrepancies including unit of measure, quantity, and billing issues.iProcess shipments for all work orders or special requests. This includes utilizing knowledge of small parcel shipment processes and systems to send items via FedEx or UPS and utilizing transportation vendor software to generate bills of lading for LTL and TL shipments.iPackage shipments, as needed, including large shipments that require skids or crates and load trucks.iEnter all orders daily that have shipped.iPerform assigned department cleaning and organizing duties.iProperly operate all types of equipment within safety and productivity requirements including, but not limited to, lift truck or pallet jacks to move materials to proper locations and computer hardware and software to enter information and conduct data searches.iAttend work regularly and predictably and uphold Company values in all work aspects.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
