AREA SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNCIL / ASAC Facilities Coordinator in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

DescriptioniArea Substance Abuse Councilis mission is to provide comprehensive behavioral health services delivered with dignity, respect and professionalism, to reduce the impact of substance use and gambling disorders. We are seeking a full-time Facilities Coordinator for aiMonday-Friday, 1st shift opportunity.iThis facilities team member will work closely with the Director of Facilities each day to coordinate a variety of daily and monthly tasks for the facilities department related to routine and emergent maintenance needs.iAdditional functions include:File all records in facilities office for monitoring and review, process all routine invoices on a daily basis. Coordinate all contracts for services with the facilities director and executive director.Monitors vehicle maintenance needs and documentation. Schedules and coordinates vehicle maintenance as required for all locations while maintaining a professional demeaner.Organizing supply area and stocking items by working with supplier for inventory control and demand including office, cleaning, PPE, facilities and other supplies needed for operations.Will deliver such goods when available and/or arrange for the delivery of supplies for all offices and facilities. This will include stocking janitorial areas when needed.Coordinates and ensures safety drills are completed in all facilities on all shifts annually.Manage fire safety equipment maintenance AED and power outage supplies, ensure first aid supplies are available at all locations.Responsibilities include effectively communicating and coordinating vendors, staff and administration needs, emergencies, and communications as requested.Help agency with coordinating large donations or corporate pickup locations e.g. Collins Aviation and other companies. This will require observing what these entities have to offer and coordinate pickup and delivery.Coordinate facility volunteers, i.e. confidentiality form, oversee projects.Maintains strict confidentiality, in accordance with HIPAA and 42CFR.RequirementsiQualified candidates will have a high school diploma/GED. Candidates must have a knowledge of project management and/or facility maintenance. Two years of experience in a regulated health setting or knowledge of substance abuse facility licensure is preferred. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass an extensive background check.iSalary and BenefitsASAC offers competitive compensation with an increase after a successful 90-day introductory period.
