Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests and perform debugs of control and diagnostic systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.

• Conduct disciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems and commercial software

• Measure and analyze software designs for equipment/products to ensure current and future needs of the business are met.

• Build and implement procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and functions.

• Operate equipment and computer systems for testing and software design purposes to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives are achieved.

  Required Qualifications:

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in a Software Engineering or related position.

• At least 2 years of experience with Object Oriented programming in Java script, C++, C and Python;

• At least 2 years of experience with Machine Learning;

• At least 2 years of experience with Matlab;

• At least 2 years of experience with Data Analysis;

• At least 2 years of experience in Avionics;

• At least 2 years of experience with Software Development;

• At least 2 years of experience with Software Verification;

• At least 2 years of experience with Software Integration in Host and Target environment;

• At least 2 years of experience with DO-178C Certification; and

• At least 2 years of experience with Agile.

The salary range for this position is $63,107.00 to $124,000.00 per year. This is the correct compensation range. Please disregard any additional verbiage noted below pertaining to the salary range.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
