Van-Wall Equipment, Inc. Application Product Specialist in Carroll, Iowa
Job SummaryThe Application Product Specialist will provide optimization and overall machine functionality to the customer. Additionally, they will work with the Application team to provide support on all crop care equipment. They will deliver internal and external training to machine operators and all dealership departments. The territory will primarily be focused around the Western third of Iowa. Work location is flexible however, the role would ideally be based in Carroll, Manning, or Audubon Van Wall location(s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities-Assist with all new and used application equipment start ups-Calibration of equipment i.e. dry spreaders-Work with Ag Sales staff on new and used application equipment demonstrations and start ups-Aid Integrated Solutions (AMS) staff with installation of rate controllers on application equipment on an as needed basis-Support the ExpertConnect phone line with other members of the Application team-Participate in all application equipment training (internal & external)-Provide guidance/assistance to Technicians and other service personal with repairs when needed-Perform software updates on application equipment-Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications-Bachelors degree within an Agricultural discipline strongly preferred-3+ years in a customer focused role within the equipment industry required-Previous knowledge and operating experience of application equipment required-Understanding of John Deere machine and agronomic data platforms-Knowledge of agriculture equipment required-Excellent communication skills-Good driving record with insurability to drive under companies fleet insurance policy
