JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

Are you passionate about swine farm industry and you love to work in a hardworking team of dedicated professionals? We are looking for the Production Lead primarily responsible for the execution of approved operational procedures for the animal Welfare, bio security and safety in an accurate and timely fashion.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead all aspects of overall farm operation, including swine feeding, swine growth monitoring, swine illness observing and basic treating, as well as animal quarters' cleaning and maintenance.

  • Executes personal hygiene and general hygiene practices follow established procedure.

  • Develop and implement the operation plan by reporting and problem solving.

  • Mentor new employee and evaluate farm operation performance.

  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • One year of experience with swine production.

  • Availability and willing to work on weekends and holidays.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of swine breeding, farm management or bio-security.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of farm operation, including swine feeding, swine growth monitoring, swine illness observing and basic treating, as well as animal quarters' cleaning and maintenance.
