Supervises maintenance employees, solves problems with equipment, prepares budgets, and oversees the scheduling of maintenance work.less than/p>less thanp>less thanstrong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: less than/strong>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>Supervision and Management of the Maintenance Department.less than/li>less thanli>Manage and update work orders, PM Programs and Inventory Controls.less than/li>less thanli>Responsible for cost justifying, compiling specs., ordering, and overseeing installing new equipment.less than/li>less thanli>Provides a safe work environment for employees.less than/li>less thanli>Assisting heavily in the capital planning, proposals for expansions, the budgeting process, monitor expenditures and assists with cost improvement projects.less than/li>less thanli>Recognizes and takes steps to resolve operating problems in order to minimize their impact on the operations.less than/li>less thanli>Responsible for managing contractors while they are onsite to include human safety, food safety, and plant GMP requirements.less than/li>less thanli>Cooperates with all departments to assure a coordinated work relationship exists at all times.less than/li>less thanli>Maintain and improve upon record keeping ensuring that the info is current, correct, and complete.less than/li>less thanli>Encourages suggestions from employees which will improve production, quality, safety and/or control costs of production.less than/li>less thanli>Keeps senior management informed on operating and/or staffing problems which may require their attention or knowledge.less than/li>less thanli>Develop and/or maintain the programs necessary to ensure all employees are properly trained in order to meet company objectives relating to human safety, product quality and safety, environmental compliance, human relations, and professional development.less than/li>less thanli>Lead and participate in plant and corporate continuous improvement teams to promote facility growth and development.less than/li>less thanli>Actively participate in the PSM Program.less than/li>less thanli>Complete and supervise special projects and other duties as assigned.less than/li>less thanli>Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.less than/li>less thanli>Serves as the facility property protection coordinator.less than/li>less thanli>Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.less than/li>less thanli>Responsible for the Property Protection Program, as it relates to our Emergency Response Plan.less than/li>less thanli>In case of absence, job responsibilities will be covered by a qualified designee.less than/li>less thanli>Perform other duties as assigned.less than/li>less thanli>less thanstrong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: less than/strong>less than/li>less thanli>5 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial operation, maintenance or utilities operations is preferred.less than/li>less than
