Job Description:

Information Technology Services at Iowa State University (ISU) is seeking a candidate for the role of Workday Integration Developer. This position will play a vital role in building and supporting integrations between Workday and a wide range of campus applications and external systems. IT Services provides computing, network services, enterprise systems, and information security resources to students, faculty, and staff at Iowa State. IT Services partners with IT professionals across campus to provide more specialized IT resources to ISU’s academic and business units.

T he Integration Developer:

  • Is part of a team that develops and supports the various Workday integrations at ISU

  • Takes part in the support of existing Workday functionality and the implementation of new Workday modules

  • Works closely with internal and external resources to determine the ideal solutions for integrations between products, and maintain these solutions throughout the application development lifecycle

    Successful candidate will:

  • B e able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Have an excellent attention to detail, and engage comfortably with 3rd party vendors

  • Be able to support business users through testing and creation of test scenarios

  • Have the aptitude to understand inputs and outputs in order to assess the upstream and downstream impacts of changes

  • Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement

  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a result oriented and customer focused approach

Depending on the level of experience, the individual may be hired as a Software Developer I or II.

Minimum Requirements:

I: High school diploma or equivalent (PS808)

II: High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of related experience (PS809)
