DUTIES: Responsible for operational procurement activities within local/regional plant sites, ensuring one point of contacttowards suppliers and business; manage supplier quality and delivery problems and support efforts to securebest Total Cost of Ownership. Duties include: supporting purchasing activities focusing on operationalperformance and efficiency; supplier performance management; quality claim organization and administration;contracts and pricing management; procurement master data maintenance; materials change management andPPAP activities; supplier accountability for on time delivery and reimbursement activities; acting as first escalationpoint for supply and/or quality issues; evaluating the cost/should cost of a purchased parts; negotiation andimplementation of inventory solutions with external suppliers; and discussing increase of capacity at supplierthrough shop floor mapping.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree and/or certificate within Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial), Business (specializing in Supply Chain), or Logistics fields. 1.5 years experience in parts and supplier management, including with SAPor related ERP system (ex. Oracle, JD Edwards), MS Office (including MS Word & Excel), root cause analysistools to solve bottle neck issues at supplier's shop floor, and value stream mapping to optimize the output fromsupplier.
