Production Planner Requisition ID: 17381 Job Location(s): Ames, US, 50011 Job Description Danfoss is looking for a Production Planner to join us at our Ames, Iowa Airport Road location in the US.The Production planner position is responsible for the key Supply Chain business processes and activities that are needed to support the availability of procured materials and also product that is made in house. This includes the creation and management of: Forecast, Purchase Order Releases, Production order releases, Inventory Models, Plan for Every Part, Project and Engineering transitions, Conformance to Customs and Trade Regulations, Supplier Capacity Analysis, SAP Parameter Management, and Delivery Performance communication for all assigned suppliers and supporting freight providers.Job Responsibilities Participation in monthly BA Sales and Operations Planning sessionsManageforecasting consumption errorsAnalyzemissing components reports for product built in-houseCollaborate with external suppliers on changed demandsManage dates of required engineering design changesCreate and communicate implementation schedules and changesResponsible for the PMR elements impacting Supply ChainFacilitate and manage the transition from current to future suppliersDefine the required CbP ModelCreateand implementall PFEP activities for assigned areasEnsure SAP Parameters are defined for TROC Inventory TargetsManage the flow of materials for compliance to TROC Inventory LevelsManage Exception Reporting to ensure that the flow of materials are in line with required assembly schedule plansASN Implementation and ManagementResolveany receiving hold issues that ariseReleaseand manageproduction ordersEnsure that processes are compliant to customs and import regulationsEnsure SAP Data is maintainedforcompliance to regulationsResponsible for TCO to ensure that the proper mode, lanes, and carriers are establishedBackground and Skills Associate's or Bachelor's degree and/or certificate within Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in parts and supplier management preferred in relevant fields (ex. Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering)Strong communication, problem solving, analytical and organizational skillsProficiency in MS Office (including MS Word and Excel)Must have experience with SAP or related ERP system (ex.
