Job Description:Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

The Anthropology program in the Department of World Languages and Cultures at Iowa State University seeks to hire a ½-time lecturer to teach a required course in Biological Anthropology, along with three other courses in the 2024-25 academic year. Additional courses may include Intro to Cultural Anthropology, Human Origins, Globalization and Culture, and/or a course in the applicant’s area of specialization.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Anthropology or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Anthropology or related field. Evidence of effective teaching at the post-secondary level
