Job Description:

This position provides leadership and coordination within the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost for academic program effectiveness including program review and accreditation, undergraduate student success initiatives, and outcomes assessment. This position represents the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost on undergraduate academic matters (externally with Board of Regents and Board of Regents Committees and peer institutions, and internally with divisional and college leadership, faculty senate committees, etc.). The position requires academic affairs administrative and program management experience, including a thorough understanding of academic issues and policies, university organization /structures. Experience and background in student success, student outcomes, academic issues, curriculum, advising, career services, diversity and continuous improvement process is essential for the position. The position serves as a resource to academic colleges on university policies and procedures. Excellent communication and management skills are required.This position serves at the pleasure of the administration and is exempt from certain P&S policies.
