Aerotek Administrative Assistant in Ames, Iowa

Description:

  • Support HR team in administrative tasks, manage HR Email Inbox

  • Greet walk-in traffic and cascade employee issues to appropriate HR Team Member

  • Stay current on document filing (Personnel and Medical)

  • Create new hire personnel and medical files.

  • Pull terminated personnel/medical files and retain in proper year.

  • Create New Employee Orientation Agenda/Schedule conference rooms and presenters.

  • Reset payroll system passwords as requested by employees & escalate IT issues as needed.

  • Print/Organize HR Forms

  • Open/Organize incoming mail

  • Working in Excel to pull information from spreadsheets

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1+ year of Administrative/Clerical/ or Filing experience

Ability to take the initiative

Someone who is a College student or just received their degree would be ideal but not required
