Job Title: Technology Support (Temporary/Seasonal)Hours: 7:30 - 4:30 (Hours will vary between full-time and part-time)Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience working as a team or independently.

  • Must be able to respond to customer needs and concerns in a positive manner.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Reports to: Director of Technology Job Goal:This position will assist with several summer technology-related tasks and projects. This may include the collection of all K-5 Chromebooks, charging cart set up, and performing diagnostics on secondary Chromebooks and performing the necessayr repair. Performance Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer service and support for the district’s technology using the district’s ticketing system.

  • Maintains inventory, repair and work order records as directed.

  • Assist in the assembly and placement of new equipment as needed.

  • Assist with hardware repairs (Chromebooks, Windows Laptops/Desktops, and other devices)

  • Assist with support of Audio/Visual equipment

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Provide information to the Director of Technology on all matters of relevance.

    Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to travel in a district-provided vehicle to all buildings and locations as assigned by the Director of Technology.

  • Will be required to see, stand, walk, sit and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds.

  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information.

  • Employee must be able to frequently work with interruptions during a work shift.

  • Employee must be capable of working in a broad range of temperatures, humidity and other winter and summer environments.
