Accountemps has an immediate need for a talented Bookkeeper. If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you. The short-term temporary Bookkeeper will work in the Altoona, Iowa area.

How you will make an impact

• Settle accounts by reconciling entries

• Examine payments received and record deposits

• Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts

• Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

• Oversee and manage general ledger

• Uphold quality historical records by filing documents

• Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Requirements

• Command of financial reconciliation

• QuickBooks experience desired

• Prior experience using accounting software

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
