*PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT* In collaboration with the Location Administrative Manager, manages operations, equipment and personnel assigned to the location. _ SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP_ In collaboration with the Location Administrative Manager, supervises all location employees. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assists the Operations Manager in the development of annual budgets and capital expenditures. Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment and facilities. This includes maintaining proper records for this same equipment and facilities. Responsible for inventory control and keeping inventory in proper condition. Follows the company’s pricing policies on all merchandise and services. Keep up to date on all product knowledge and make proper recommendations to patrons and prospects. Responsible to see that all new patrons and prospects receive a company credit application. Develop a basic comprehension of Agri-Finance program and know the proper channels to utilize in order to have the program explained to patrons and prospects which could benefit from this program. Conducts employee training and communication meetings with employees. Responsible for meeting all company, local, state and federal safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. _ OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS_ Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. _ REQUIREMENTS_ Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 5 years or more of related work experience. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Normally requires a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Continuously exposed or required to: • Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) • Noisy conditions • Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures • May be required to work at varying heights • Confined spaces • Lift 71-100 lbs. • Required to push heavy objects Ability to work extended hours. Ability to travel independently and overnight. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMAR collects for sales of all assigned products.
