This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


4 3 Work Schedule. Operate and maintain rendering equipment Responsible for the preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of various rendering equipment. Responsible for the cleanliness and up keep of all rendering spaces and areas assigned. Job requires working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. Ability to operate and monitor rendering equipment machinery thru the use of a computer systems Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor


Rendering experience preferred but not required. Willingness to learn assigned rendering job area. Ability to monitor and record information. Good organizational skills are required. Effective oral and written communications skills required with the ability to read and comprehend written manuals and standard operating procedures. Basic computer skills required. Must be willing and able to work at heights above the normal work area and the use of ladders, lifts and scaffolds. Must be willing and able to work in extreme hot and cold environments, with seasonal winter temperatures and summer temperatures that may reach unto 110 degrees. Must be willing and able to lift 62 lbs. occasionally. Must be willing and able to work around the sight and smell of rendering material. Must be willing and able to work Weekends.
