To enable our continued growth, we are looking to add top talent to our dynamic organization.Responsibilities:An ADS Professional Fleet Driver is required to safely operate company equipment and provide the highest level of customer service in terms of delivery and customer management. A Driver is responsible for inspecting, tracking and maintaining the maintenance of the unit that is assigned to him/her as well as any equipment being hauled. ADS Drivers must maintain legal and accurate Daily Driver Logs in regards to hours of service, ADS-related paperwork and driving best practices. Drivers receive work assignments based on their hours of availability. This position requires the flexibility to work any day of the week when driving hours are available as well as loaning driving services to other ADS facilities. Drivers report directly to the Freight Manager.The responsibilities of an ADS Professional Fleet Driver include, but are not limited to:iSafe operation of all company equipmentiReport BOL discrepanciesiMaintain proper communication with customer and Freight ManageriManage safe unloading at delivery destination and place product in customer's desired locationiMaintain an accurate and legal driving log and communicate availability to Fleet ManageriTimely reporting of ALL accidents, incidents or violationsiEnsure accuracy of delivered quantities and product typesiMaintain accurate and up-to-date daily paperwork (trip envelope, RMA's)iMaintain high levels of personal appearance in the wearing of the company uniformiSubmit all company-related documents on a daily basis whenever possible.iMaintain vehicle cleanliness and operational capacityiTravel to other ADS locations and provide support in the ADS Loaner Driver programiAdhere to company and departmental policiesiEnsure loads are properly securediPerform pre/post trip inspections of all equipmentiReport equipment and payload problems/hazardsiPerform in-route inspection of all equipmentio Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUESJob will have other responsibilities as assignedJob Skills:A Professional Fleet Driver must possess the following skills/knowledge:iMust be able to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculationsiMust possess skills to handle receipts, read road maps, road signs, maintain driver logs, etc.iFirm working knowledge of DOT regulations and freight requirementsiComplete knowledge of safe loading/unloading procedures for all ADS equipment and productsiComplete knowledge of all ADS finished goodsiPossess SAFE defensive driving skillsiCourteous/friendly/positive representation of ADSiStrong communication and interpersonal skillsJob Specifications:A Professional Fleet Driver must meet the following eligibility requirements
