Responsibilities Develop global policies and procedures to drive a culture of safety throughout the organization. Leverage ES&H best practices across the company Establish and implement global ES&H goals and objectives aligned with company and operational goals and objectives. Responsible for global metrics, auditing and key indicators to ensure consistency, compliance and continuous improvement across the company. Ensure regulatory compliance with country, state and local regulations. Collect, monitor, analyze and evaluate metrics that measure effectiveness of ES&H compliance and training programs. Implement systems and processes for global ES&H monitoring, measurement and reporting. Key member of the Final Control and Emerson Automation Solutions ES&H teams. Provide support for all Emerson lead ES&H audits through the following actions: Conduct pre-audit checklist Participate in the audit (as needed) Ensure that all corrective actions are responded to and completed within the given timeframe Provide ES&H consultation to management to achieve functional improvement and regulatory compliance. Provide continuous leadership in reducing the operating cost related to ES&H for the facilities worldwide through energy conservation, waste minimization, injury prevention and FM programs. Participate in Emerson Worldwide Environmental Seminars and lead Business Unit meetings (in-person or webex/teleconference). Monitoring all required self-assessment surveys to ensure timely completion of open items, and turning the paperwork to Emerson within the required timeframe. Ensure that all new projects undertaken within the organization has considered the ES&H Impact and has obtained all required authorizations/permits to keep project completion on time.
