  • Counsel 2 – Consumer Protection & UDAAP Attorney - Consumer Lending Division*

Attorney (Counsel 2) advising and supporting Wells Fargo & Company on a wide range of consumer protection matters, with an emphasis on emerging UDAAP issues. Attorney will serve as a subject matter expert on a wide range of UDAAP and consumer protection issues for bank activities and will work with other areas of the Law Department, risk management and compliance areas in resolving those issues. The attorney’s responsibilities will also include legal support related to risk management and control activities designed to identify issues and manage risk. The attorney will also counsel Wells Fargo businesses on a wide range of consumer protection and UDAAP issues, including legal support for marketing and solicitation activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a practicing attorney

  • Active State Bar membership

  • Ability to analyze legal issues in substantive law in area of practice and provide effective advice to clients on routine legal matters
