The Airborne Navigation Systems Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Engineering group is looking for a motivated Sr. Systems Engineer, with a history of success and a desire to join an industry-leading Global Positioning System (GPS) and navigation product team. The candidate will be part of an innovative, dedicated team responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting Navigation products.

The successful applicant will perform a variety of systems engineering activities on the current and next generation of Navigation products using leading edge tools, techniques, and methodologies. As a member of the team, you will be expected to support activities that span all phases of system product development including requirements analysis and capture; system architecture definition and system design; requirements allocation and traceability; system integration; and system verification.

The position requires the following: • U.S. citizen or permanent resident • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline. • Good oral and written communication skills • Good team work skills • Be highly motivated; self-directed; and able to balance multiple tasks • Technical aptitude and professionalism • An understanding of current system engineering processes • Experience with system requirements development management • Experience with system integration and test

If the applicant has any of the following, it would be a plus: • Prior experience in GPS development • Experience with modeling languages such as UML, SysML, and DoDAF • Familiarity with Engineering Development tools like DOORS, Matlab, Simulink, Enterprise Architect, etc. • Experience with GPS simulators • Experience with hardware description languages (e.g. VHDL, etc.) • Experience with modern software languages (e.g. Java, C, C , C#, Python, perl, etc.)
