Essential Functions & Responsibilities
The

staff physical therapist is responsible for patient examination, evaluation,

diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutic intervention. The staff physical therapist practices

within the scope of the profession of Physical Therapy for adult and pediatric

patients. In addition, the

staff physical therapist is expected to contribute to department functioning and

support the mission and objectives of the hospital.
Qualifications/Experience

* Meets

educational requirements as necessary for obtaining professional license in

Physical Therapy
* Must

be licensed by, or have applied for a license to practice Physical Therapy

from the Iowa Department of Public Health
* Previous

experience working as a physical therapist

preferred
