Ingalls Honey Inc Farmworker - Bees in BANCROFT, Iowa
Farmworker - Bees. Multiple jobs. Responsible for year-round ground maintenance, preparing bees, and maintaining equipment, including cleaning and constructing hives, and pollination activities. Collect, dry, and freeze pollen for market. Assist with feeding bees, disease control, raising and replacing queen bees, dividing colonies when necessary, and replacing frames. Maintain records of hives and bee-yards. Travel between hives and bee-yards and to move bees for pollination of crops. Must not have allergies to bee stings or pollen and ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs.
