Tracking Code20170370Job DescriptionTitle: Distribution Center SupervisorLocation: Ankeny IowaShift: M-F 7am-3:30pmMajor FunctionSupervise and coordinate distribution center activity of ten plus employees in the shipping and receiving of $800 million of product on an annual basis. Serve a customer network of 35 plus distributors, 5,000 dealers, and hundreds of mass retail locations while maintaining inventory and shipping accuracy in an effort to meet customer service, productivity, and financial requirements.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for day-to-day accurate and efficient daily shipping and receiving of products; including hands-on involvement of unloading and loading trucks and administrative duties as needed.Ensure safe and secure site practices and stocking of materials; goal of zero incidents/injuries.Maintain and support a work environment that values employees, serves our customers, and provides a return to owners.Monitor cost center performance and maintain budgets within approved limits.Responsible for creating an environment which values employees and provides superior service to our customers.Assure the distribution center conforms to 5S requirements and maintains outstanding scores on 5S audits.Maintain hazardous material shipping training; complete all hazardous material paperwork as required.
